First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine and Minister of Energy of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal informed International Atomic Energy Agency Director General Rafael Grossi about Russia’s preparations for another large-scale attack on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, including possible strikes on facilities

First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine and Minister of Energy Denys Shmyhal met with European Commissioner for Energy and Housing Dan Jørgensen.

During the meeting, Denys Shmyhal briefed the European Commissioner on the current situation in Ukraine’s energy sector.

At a meeting with the Board of NPC Ukrenergo, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal outlined urgent priorities to stabilize the national power system.

The coordinated work of all emergency services, together with the swift restoration of damaged infrastructure, is critical to stabilizing the situation in Kyiv and the surrounding region as quickly as possible.

A regular meeting of the Headquarters for Emergency Response in Kyiv and the Kyiv region was held, co-chaired by First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy Denys Shmyhal and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development Oleksiy Kuleba.
