The price of gas for households has been determined by market conditions since August 1, 2020. Citizens are free to choose a supplier offering the best price.
At the same time, at the initiative of the Cabinet of Ministers, a "yearly product" was introduced to ensure gas affordability. Currently, due to the war, there is a price increase cap on the yearly product set at no more than 8 UAH per cubic meter. Thus, households that enter into a yearly contract will receive gas at an affordable price.
