To implement item 33 of the Action Plan for the National Renewable Energy Plan through 2030, approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated 13 August 2024, the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine carried out comprehensive work to develop an interactive map of optimal locations for electric vehicle (EV) charging stations.
The Ministry of Energy of Ukraine analyzed the road network, as approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated 15 December 2023, No. 1318, in order to identify sections where EV charging stations are currently absent.
In cooperation with distribution system operators, the Ministry of Energy identified the most suitable locations for EV charging stations.
The Ministry of Energy of Ukraine created an interactive map of optimal locations for EV charging stations, marking corresponding points along the majority of international, national, regional, and local roads.
Furthermore, work has been carried out to establish a mechanism for real-time coordination with distribution system operators to ensure data updates.
