Briefing by First Deputy Minister of Energy of Ukraine Artem Nekrasov on the Operational Situation in the Power System as of January 30

30 January 2026, 12:17

- Restoration works at energy facilities are ongoing. In Kyiv and the Kyiv region, a capacity deficit persists. Since yesterday, the distribution system operator in the capital has been applying temporary schedules in accordance with the available volume of accessible capacity.

- Across the country, hourly outage schedules are in effect, as well as power limitation schedules for businesses. In certain regions, due to the difficult situation in the power system, emergency outages are being applied as a forced measure. After the situation stabilizes, consumers will return to forecast hourly outage schedules.

- Due to adverse weather conditions, more than 270 settlements remain without electricity supply in the Odesa, Vinnytsia, Kyiv, Chernihiv, and Sumy regions. Oblenergo repair crews are working around the clock to restore damaged power lines, including under difficult conditions.

More details on the situation in the power system are available in the briefing by the First Deputy Minister of Energy of Ukraine, Artem Nekrasov.
