The Chernihiv region has received 6.33 tonnes of humanitarian assistance from the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine’s emergency energy assistance hubs. The equipment was provided by Switzerland.

The assistance from TETRA LAVAL INTERNATIONAL SA includes a trailer-mounted diesel generator, a stationary diesel generator, and six portable petrol generators. The equipment will be used to provide backup power for critical infrastructure facilities and energy enterprises across the region.

The generators will help strengthen the energy resilience of the Chernihiv region, ensure the uninterrupted operation of critical facilities during emergency power outages, and enhance the region’s preparedness to respond to the consequences of Russian attacks.

Switzerland continues to support Ukraine’s energy sector by providing equipment essential for strengthening the resilience of critical infrastructure.
