With the support of the Austrian Federal Ministry of the Interior, energy companies in the Chernivtsi, Chernihiv, and Kyiv regions have received critical equipment from the Ministry of Energy’s emergency energy assistance hubs to enhance the resilience of energy infrastructure.

Power transformers were delivered to the Chernivtsi and Chernihiv regions, while the Kyiv region received a diesel generator together with auxiliary equipment. The assistance will support the restoration and modernisation of electricity networks, provide backup power supply, and strengthen the preparedness of energy infrastructure for the upcoming autumn and winter season.

Austria remains one of Ukraine’s reliable partners, consistently supporting the Ukrainian energy sector and helping strengthen the resilience of critical infrastructure amid Russia’s full-scale war.
