First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister of Energy Denys Shmyhal presented awards and departmental distinctions to workers in Ukraine’s oil, gas and oil refining industries on the occasion of their professional holiday.

Among them were emergency and restoration technicians and engineers, gas distribution station operators and electric and gas welders, machinery operators and chief power engineers — people of different professions who ensure the daily operation of an industry that is critically important for the country.

“Oil and gas facilities are increasingly coming under enemy attacks. Despite this, Ukraine’s energy sector continues to operate, while the professional and responsible work of our colleagues ensures the country’s supply of gas and fuel. I thank each and every one of you for your professionalism, responsibility and resilience. It is thanks to you that Ukraine’s energy sector withstands these challenges and continues to operate under any circumstances!” Denys Shmyhal said.
