During a working visit to Kharkiv Region, First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine and Minister of Energy Denys Shmyhal presented state awards to energy sector workers.
As the Minister noted, the awards recognize the daily dedication of energy professionals working under wartime conditions and their significant contribution to the country’s energy resilience. It is these specialists who ensure the uninterrupted operation of critical infrastructure, restore networks damaged by attacks, respond rapidly to emergency situations, and continue their work where risk has become part of everyday reality.
“Kharkiv Region remains one of the most heavily targeted regions of Ukraine. Every restored facility here helps sustain the region and its people while strengthening the resilience of the country’s entire energy system. This is the result of the professionalism, perseverance, and responsibility of workers who continue their mission even under the most challenging circumstances. Ukraine’s energy system continues to function thanks to the dedication of our energy professionals. I am grateful to every employee of the energy sector for their contribution,” Denys Shmyhal emphasized.
