The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has introduced amendments to Resolution No. 1055 of 12 December 2018, extending the fulfilment by universal service providers of special obligations imposed on participants in the electricity market.
The purpose of the decision is to create conditions for reliable and uninterrupted electricity supply to household consumers and small businesses.
The document stipulates that, during the period of martial law in Ukraine, universal electricity services for consumers will continue to be provided by the same electricity suppliers.
