In April, the Energy Support Fund of Ukraine received grant contributions from Canada, Croatia, and the United Kingdom. The total volume of contributions amounted to €72.3 million.

In addition, documents on further grant contributions were signed in April and new donor commitments were announced. Ukraine expects to receive €10 million from the European Commission, as well as €0.5 million from a private Latvian company.

New contributions have also been announced: €10 million from Italy and €155,000 from Canada.

Through the Fund’s mechanism, contracts worth approximately €8.1 million for the supply of critically needed equipment were signed in April. This includes equipment for strengthening electricity networks, protecting facilities, ensuring emergency resilience of the power system, modernizing substations, generation facilities, and gas infrastructure, among others.

At the same time, equipment deliveries worth approximately €5.7 million were completed in April under previously signed contracts. Delivered items included complete transformer substations, a turbo-generator monitoring system, and other equipment aimed at restoring and strengthening the country’s energy infrastructure.

Overall, the Energy Support Fund of Ukraine has already received nearly €1.934 billion in grant funding from 37 foreign donors representing 26 partner countries and 3 international organizations.
