The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, upon submission by the Ministry of Energy, has extended the Public Service Obligations (PSO) mechanism in the electricity market until the end of October 2026. This ensures the retention of fixed electricity prices for household consumers.
“Thus, Ukrainians will continue to pay for electricity at the unchanged tariff of UAH 4.32 per kWh,” said Denys Shmyhal, First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister of Energy.
In addition, according to Denys Shmyhal, a preferential tariff of UAH 2.64 per kWh will remain in place for households with electric heating, as well as for those without gas supply or centralized heating.
“The extension of public service obligations is a consistent state policy aimed at supporting citizens during wartime, preserving their well-being, and strengthening energy resilience,” Denys Shmyhal emphasized.
