Ukraine continues to implement a state financial support programme for citizens installing renewable energy generation systems in their households. The programme provides preferential loans for the installation of solar power plants and energy storage systems.
As of today, authorized banks have received nearly 5,000 applications from individuals to participate in the programme. Following their review, 4,819 loan agreements have been signed for a total amount exceeding UAH 1.69 billion. The total installed capacity of the equipment amounts to 41.8 thousand kW.
In February 2026 alone, banks received 552 new applications, of which 517 loan agreements were signed for UAH 176.1 million. The total capacity of the equipment under these agreements amounts to 4.5 thousand kW.
Thanks to the programme, Ukrainian families can invest in their own energy independence, reduce electricity costs, and contribute to the development of the country’s renewable energy sector.
