On behalf of the Minister of Energy of Ukraine, First Deputy Minister Artem Nekrasov conducted a working visit to the Kharkiv region to assess the condition of the energy infrastructure and outline further steps for its restoration.
During the visit, he, together with representatives of the regional military administration and local energy companies, inspected the technical condition of key facilities, reviewed the availability of materials, and evaluated the progress of repair and restoration works following recent Russian attacks. Special attention was given to the region’s preparedness for the upcoming autumn–winter heating season.
Artem Nekrasov emphasized that the Kharkiv region remains among the most vulnerable areas due to its proximity to the front line. Nevertheless, energy enterprises are making every effort to ensure a stable and reliable energy supply to consumers.
During the working meetings, the participants also defined priority measures for the restoration of damaged facilities and the strengthening of physical protection of critical energy infrastructure across the region.
