Eight modern transformer substation units have been delivered to the Mykolaiv region from the Ministry of Energy's emergency energy assistance hubs.
The humanitarian assistance was provided free of charge by GIZ (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit), which continues to support Ukraine's efforts to strengthen its energy resilience.
The new equipment replaces an outdated transformer substation in the Mykolaiv region that could no longer ensure the required quality of electricity supply. Although the new compact transformer substation is similar in size to the previous one, it accommodates more powerful, modern, and efficient equipment, ensuring reliable, high-quality electricity supply for many years to come.
We thank our international partners for supporting Ukraine's energy sector.
