Norway has agreed to make a new contribution of EUR 86.4 million to the Ukraine Energy Support Fund, bringing its total support to EUR 163.6 million.

The additional funding will be directed toward restoring energy infrastructure damaged by Russian attacks, stabilizing Ukraine’s energy system, and ensuring its reliable and sustainable operation during winter conditions.

“I am grateful to Norway for its leadership and solidarity with Ukraine. I also thank the Energy Community Secretariat for coordinating the work of the Energy Support Fund. It is a reliable mechanism for rapid and transparent assistance, which has already mobilized more than EUR 1.7 billion from 36 donors and delivered critical equipment to energy companies and regions across Ukraine,” said First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister of Energy Denys Shmyhal.
