- As a result of hostilities, some consumers in the Donetsk, Mykolaiv, Sumy, Chernihiv, and Kharkiv regions remain temporarily without electricity supply.

- Energy workers are operating in an enhanced mode in order to restore electricity supply to all consumers as quickly as possible. Restoration works continue around the clock.

- In the Donetsk region, two energy sector employees were killed as a result of an enemy attack on an energy facility. The Ministry of Energy of Ukraine expresses its sincere condolences to their families and loved ones.

- In the Chornobyl Exclusion Zone, efforts continue to eliminate the fire that broke out on 7 May within the Chornobyl Radiation and Ecological Biosphere Reserve. The fire has been localised, and State Emergency Service units together with specialists of the exclusion zone continue extinguishing isolated smouldering areas, including peatlands. The situation remains under control. No exceedance of control levels of gamma radiation has been recorded in the exclusion zone, and the radiation background remains within normal limits.

- Due to adverse weather conditions, some consumers in the Zakarpattia region remain without electricity supply. Repair crews are carrying out restoration works.

- No power supply restrictions are forecast for today. Information on any changes in electricity supply is available through the official resources of distribution system operators.

- Consumers are encouraged, where possible, to shift intensive electricity consumption to daytime hours, from 11:00 to 15:00. During evening peak hours, from 18:00 to 22:00, consumers are asked to use electricity sparingly. This helps reduce the load on the power system.
