As a result of hostilities and attacks on energy infrastructure, some consumers in the Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, Kharkiv, and Cherkasy regions remain temporarily without electricity.
The most difficult situation is in the Sumy region, where a Russian attack left a large number of consumers in the city of Sumy and surrounding communities without power.
Tragically, last night’s attack claimed the life of an energy worker in the Dnipropetrovsk region. We extend our deepest condolences to the victim’s family, friends, and colleagues. Eternal memory.
Restoration work is ongoing wherever the security situation allows. Energy workers continue to make every effort to restore electricity supply to Ukrainian households as quickly as possible.
No electricity consumption restrictions are forecast for today. Consumers are advised to follow the official communication channels of their respective distribution system operators for any updates regarding electricity supply.
To help balance the power system, consumers are encouraged to shift intensive electricity use to the daytime period, from 10:00 to 16:00.
