Operational update on Ukraine’s power system as of the morning of 23 March

23 March 2026, 10:00

- As a result of hostilities and shelling of energy infrastructure, some consumers in Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions remain temporarily without electricity supply.

- Power engineers are working in an intensified mode to restore electricity supply to all consumers as soon as possible.

- Today, from 17:00 to 22:00, hourly outage schedules for all categories of consumers and capacity limitation schedules for industry will be applied across all regions of Ukraine. Up-to-date information is available on the official resources of regional distribution system operators.

- Consumers are requested, where possible, to use electricity sparingly during peak hours in the morning and evening. This helps reduce the load on the system.
