Situation in the Energy System as of 1 January

01 January 2026, 10:00

Generation and Consumption

During the night, the enemy carried out a drone attack on energy facilities in several regions of Ukraine. As of the morning, a significant number of consumers are without power in Volyn and Odesa regions, with new outages also reported in Chernihiv region. Emergency restoration works are ongoing, and energy workers are making every effort to restore electricity supply as quickly as possible.

Today, measures to limit electricity consumption are in effect across all regions of Ukraine, including power limitation schedules for industry and business, as well as hourly outage schedules for consumers.

Updated schedules are available on the official resources of regional distribution system operators. For information about changes in electricity supply, please refer to the websites or social media pages of your local energy company.

Consumers are urged to use electricity rationally throughout the day, especially during morning and evening peak hours, to help reduce the load on the system.
