Minister of Energy of Ukraine Svitlana Grynchuk participated in a high-level meeting between President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and President of the United States Donald Trump in Washington, D.C. She was joined by Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov, and Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States Olga Stefanishyna.
“President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held substantive talks with US President Donald Trump. They discussed in detail the situation on the front lines, Russian strikes on the Ukrainian energy system, and Ukraine’s immediate needs, - Ms. Grynchuk stated following the meeting, - the most important task now is to protect as many lives as possible, ensure security for Ukraine, and strengthen our collective resilience in Europe. Russia must stop the aggression it initiated and continues to deliberately prolong.”
