Two Miners Killed in Enemy Attack in Dnipropetrovsk Region

On the night of December 2–3, the enemy carried out drone strikes on the private sector of the city of Ternivka, Dnipropetrovsk region. After the first explosion, the men rushed to help the victims, but during a subsequent strike they received fatal injuries.

Among the deceased is 43-year-old Vitaliy Korotich, a miner at the longwall of Ternivske Mine Administration, who had 23 years of experience. He is survived by his wife and three daughters.

The second victim is 50-year-old Valeriy Kalinevich, a retired miner who spent his entire working life at Pavlohrad Mine before retiring.

The Ministry of Energy of Ukraine expresses its sincere condolences to the families and relatives of the deceased.

Russia has once again committed a war crime by deliberately targeting civilians.
