First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister of Energy Denys Shmyhal reported that Ukraine’s underground gas storage facilities currently hold 14.6 billion cubic metres of gas.
According to him, Ukraine reached the target level of gas storage one month ahead of schedule.
“I thank everyone who works every day to achieve this result and continues to ensure the stability of the gas sector and Ukraine’s energy security: Ukrainian gas production companies, the Gas Transmission System Operator of Ukraine, Naftogaz, and all employees of the fuel and energy sector. In terms of gas reserves, we are ready for the 2026/2027 autumn-winter period. We continue our work in other areas,” First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister of Energy Denys Shmyhal said.
