URC 2025: Ukraine Agrees on a New Stage of International Support for Its Energy Sector

14 July 2025, 11:39

On the sidelines of the Ukraine Recovery Conference 2025, an agreement was signed to strengthen the resilience and reliability of the energy system:

Ukrenergo and TERNA (Italy) agreed to exchange experience and implement advanced transmission system management technologies to accelerate adaptation to European standards. This is an important agreement for the strategic enhancement of cooperation between the two transmission system operators — both members of ENTSO-E.

These arrangements are a guarantee that Ukraine’s power system will become more flexible and resilient to attacks and will be able to confidently integrate into the European electricity market.

The Ministry of Energy expresses its gratitude to partners for their support, expert guidance, and shared commitment to building a new, strong Ukrainian energy sector.
