Rescuers are the first to arrive where it is dangerous, knowing that someone’s life may depend on their readiness to act. Every day, they rescue people from collapsed buildings, burning houses and hazardous areas, deliver humanitarian assistance, clear our land of mines, evacuate people and provide support.

After every enemy attack, under difficult and dangerous conditions, rescuers work together with energy workers to clear the rubble and restore our energy infrastructure.

We thank rescuers, firefighters, medical workers, demining specialists and special units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine for your work!

Special thanks to our more than 809 employees of the State Paramilitary Mine Rescue Service in Ukraine’s coal industry for always coming to the aid of miners, when every minute can be decisive!

We remember everyone who lost their life while saving someone else’s.

Happy Rescuer’s Day of Ukraine!
