With the support of the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine, JSC "Zaporizhzhiaoblenergo", part of the JSC "Ukrainian Distribution Networks", has received the latest tranche of international humanitarian assistance from the Ukraine Energy Support Fund — an ISUZU aerial platform truck with a working height of 32 metres.
The specialised vehicle has increased cross-country and can operate in confined spaces, including at substations. This will enable rapid emergency repair and restoration works on the most complex sections of the grid damaged by enemy shelling.
The delivery of the ISUZU aerial platform truck complements the company’s fleet of specialized vehicles, which was built up in 2024-2025. Earlier this spring, the company received a Mercedes-Benz RTT40 aerial platform with a working height of 40 metres. As a result, energy workers can now perform work on high-voltage networks and at substations without relying on rented machinery, significantly reducing the time required to eliminate outages.
The Ministry of Energy extends its gratitude to international partners for their consistent support of the energy sector in the frontline Zaporizhzhia region, which contributes to improving the reliability of electricity supply and strengthening the energy system's resilience.
