First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister of Energy Denys Shmyhal held a meeting with OECD Secretary-General Mathias Cormann during his visit to Kyiv.
The parties discussed the implementation of reforms in line with OECD principles, particularly in the energy sector, as well as Ukraine’s progress towards full membership in the Organisation.
Denys Shmyhal briefed Mathias Cormann on the current situation in the energy sector, ongoing recovery efforts, and modernization initiatives.
“We have ambitious plans to build a new energy architecture in Ukraine and count on support in advancing this agenda,” Denys Shmyhal stated.
The First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister of Energy thanked Mathias Cormann for his consistent support and engagement in Ukraine’s reform process. The parties agreed to continue working together to implement modern practices aimed at the development of the country and the well-being of its people.
