The parties discussed cooperation in the area of ensuring nuclear and radiation safety in Ukraine amid the ongoing russian military aggression, as well as the potential for further development of Ukraine’s nuclear generation.

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Ukraine, in close cooperation with the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine, has delivered three high-voltage autotransformers to the National Power Company Ukrenergo. This equipment—two autotransformers funded by the Government of Japan and one by the Government of Sweden—will help support the stable operation of Ukraine’s power system.

Deputy Minister of Energy of Ukraine Roman Andarak took part in the latest meeting of the G7+ Energy Coordination Group, where the urgent needs for continued support of Ukraine’s energy sector were discussed.

On the sidelines of the EU Energy Ministers’ meeting in Warsaw, Minister of Energy of Ukraine German Galushchenko held a bilateral meeting with Minister of Energy of the Republic of Lithuania Žygimantas Vaičiūnas.
